Poland Resumes Border Operations with Belarus
Three freight rail points—Terespol-Brest, Kuznica-Grodno, and Siemianowka-Svisloch—have been reopened for cargo trains. Additionally, passenger vehicles are now allowed through the Terespol-Brest crossing, while truck services have restarted at the Kukuryki-Kozlowicze checkpoint.
The manager of CL Europort’s Malszewicze terminal near the Terespol-Brest crossing confirmed that freight trains are arriving and indicated that the terminal is anticipated to experience high activity in the coming weeks.
Poland initially closed all border crossings with Belarus at midnight on Sept. 12 in response to the "Zapad-2025" military exercise conducted by Russia and Belarus from Sept. 12 to Sept. 16.
